1. Miniaturization, refinement and dandruff removal: in order to meet the demand of thin and light portable products represented by mobile phones, the crystal bag is transformed from the traditional bare metal shell to ceramic bag. 2. High accuracy and stability. The total precision of uncompensated crystal oscillator can also reach ±25ppm. The frequency stability of VCXO is generally within the range of 10 ~ 7℃±20 ~ 100ppm. OCXO is stable over the same temperature range. Performance is typically between ±0.0001 and 5ppm, while VCXO is controlled below ±25ppm.



3. Low noise and high frequency. GPS communication system does not allow jitter. Phase noise is an important parameter to characterize the frequency jitter of oscillator. The phase noise performance of mainstream OCXO products has been greatly improved. In addition to VCXO, the maximum output frequency of other types of crystal oscillators is less than 200MHz. For example, the UCV4 series voltage controlled oscillator for GSM and other mobile phones has a frequency of 650 ~ 1700 MHz, a supply voltage of 2.2 ~ 3.3 V, and a working current of 8 ~ 10 mA.



4. Fast start, low function, low voltage operation, low liquid level drive, low current consumption has become a trend. The supply voltage is usually 3.3v. Many TCXO and VCXO products consume less than 2mA of current. The rapid start technology of quartz crystal oscillator has also made a breakthrough. Taking Japanese seiko company's VG-2320SCVCXO as an example, the frequency stabilization time is less than 4ms within the range of ±0.1 PPM. After the oscillation, SMDTCXO produced by huiyuan crystal can reach the 90% rating. Preheat for 5 minutes and stabilize at ±0.01 PPM.
